Desktop Development is a Canberra based web development business. Our focus is on delivering complete website packages, from the early planning stages to hosting and managing the website.

We have years of experience building various types of websites including online stores, social networks, web applications and content based websites.

Technologies we use

At Desktop Development we embrace open source software and tools. Our websites are built using the PHP scripting language and hosted on servers powered by Linux and Apache.

We build our customer's webpages using valid XHTML and CSS markup, and test in all modern browsers.

Our brief history

Desktop Development was founded in August 2008 in Canberra, ACT. Since then we've successfully launched a number of small to medium sized websites.

We're still a small business, which means we can devote more time to projects and provide a more personal service.
